Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Compression happens inside your browser, and your images never leave your device.
What does the target size do?
Toolgrave tries quality levels until each image fits under the size you enter. If an image can't get that small, you see the smallest size it reached.
Why didn't my PNG get much smaller?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, so it is compressed without losing detail. For a much smaller file, convert it to JPG or WebP.
Will my image get bigger?
No. If compressing would not make an image smaller, you get the original back.
How many images can I compress at once?
Up to 100 images of up to 50 MB each. Larger batches may still work, but your device could run out of memory.
