Questions
What is 31 January plus one month?
The last day of February, 28 February or 29 in a leap year. When the month you land in is shorter, the answer is its last day.
How are months between two dates counted?
A month counts once the same day of the month is reached. From 31 January to 28 February is 28 days, not a month.
When does someone born on 29 February turn a year older?
On 1 March in years without a 29 February, because the day of their birthday has not been reached on 28 February.
Does a change of the clocks affect the count?
No. The calculator counts calendar days, so a day is always a day, whatever the clocks do.
