How does it know the format?
Gzip and zlib data start with recognisable bytes. Anything else is tried as raw deflate, and a link with SAMLRequest or SAMLResponse is read as SAML.
What is a SAML redirect?
Single sign-on services send SAML messages in a link, compressed with deflate and then Base64-encoded. Paste the whole link to read the XML.
Why does it say the data doesn't decompress?
It may be cut short, or in a different format. Try choosing the format yourself.
Is my data uploaded?
No. It is decompressed inside your browser and never leaves your device.
