Questions
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The colours are read inside your browser, and your image never leaves your device.
How do I pick an exact pixel?
The magnifier shows the pixels round the pointer, with the one you will pick outlined. You can also move the picked pixel one at a time with the arrow keys.
How are the main colours found?
The image's colours are split into groups of similar colours, and each group's average is shown, largest first. Choose between 5 and 10 colours.
Why does a colour differ slightly from my design file?
Your browser shows the image in the sRGB colour space. A photo saved with another colour profile is converted first, so its values can differ a little from the original file.
