How strong is the protection?
The PDF is encrypted with AES-256, the strongest method PDF readers support. A long password matters more than anything else.
What if I forget the password?
The PDF can't be opened, and Toolgrave can't recover the password. Keep it somewhere safe.
What do the permissions do?
They tell PDF readers whether to allow printing, copying text and editing for people who open it with the password. Most readers respect them.
