Are my videos uploaded anywhere?
No. Merging happens inside your browser, and your videos never leave your device.
Will the picture lose quality?
Not when the videos were made the same way, with the same size and frame rate, as clips from one phone usually are. Then the picture is copied as it is. Otherwise every video is re-encoded.
What if my videos are different sizes?
The joined video takes the size of the first one. The others are scaled to fit inside it, whole, with black bars where their shape differs.
What happens to the sound?
The sound runs on through each join. A video without sound adds silence for its length, so the sound stays in step with the picture.
Why does the first video take longer?
The first time, your browser downloads the video engine. After that it is kept, so the next video starts at once.
