Questions

Does it lower the quality of my photos?

No. JPG, PNG and WebP photos keep their image exactly as it was; only the hidden data is taken out. HEIC photos come out as high-quality JPG.

What does it remove?

The GPS location, camera make, model and serial number, the date taken, editing software, author names and comments. The colour profile stays, so colours look the same.

Will my photo still be the right way up?

Yes. If a photo was stored turned, its orientation is kept so it still shows the right way up.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Everything happens inside your browser.
