Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Turning happens inside your browser, and your images never leave your device.
My phone photo shows the right way up. Why would it turn wrong?
Phones often store a photo sideways with a note saying how to show it. This tool turns the photo the way you see it first, then removes the note, so it shows the same everywhere.
What do the mirror options do?
Mirror horizontally swaps left and right, like a reflection. Mirror vertically swaps top and bottom. Both apply after the turn.
Does it keep my image's format?
Yes. A JPG stays a JPG, a PNG stays a PNG, and so on.
Does turning lower the quality?
PNG images keep every pixel exactly. JPG, WebP and AVIF images are saved again at high quality, so the change is very small.
