Are my SVG files uploaded anywhere?
No. Each SVG is drawn inside your browser, and your files never leave your device.
Why does my text look different?
Text is drawn in the fonts on your device. A font the SVG links to from elsewhere is not downloaded, so text in that font is drawn in another one. Turn text into outlines in your drawing app to keep its exact shape.
Why is an image inside my SVG missing?
Images, fonts and styles the SVG links to outside the file are never downloaded, so nothing is fetched while it is drawn. Images saved inside the SVG itself are drawn as usual.
How large can the image be?
Up to 8,192 pixels on each side. A scale of 2× doubles the SVG's own width and height.
Which format should I choose?
PNG keeps transparency and sharp edges. JPG is smaller for photos but cannot be transparent, so choose a background colour. WebP is small and keeps transparency.
