How to unzip files
- Choose or drop a ZIP file.
- Tick the files you want. All of them are ticked at first.
- Select Extract, then download the file, or one ZIP with the files you chose.
Questions
Why do several files download as a ZIP?
Browsers save one file per download, so the files you choose are put into one new ZIP that keeps their folders. Choose one file to download it on its own.
Why can some files not be extracted?
Files protected with a password are listed but not extracted, because this tool cannot open encrypted ZIP files. A few archives use a compression method other than the usual one; those files are listed too, with the reason.
Is there a size limit?
Archives and files of 4 GB or more use an extension called Zip64, which this tool cannot open yet. Below that, the limit is your device's memory.
Can it open RAR or 7z files?
No, only ZIP archives. That includes most .zip files made by Windows, macOS and other tools.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The archive is opened inside your browser, so neither it nor the files in it leave your device.
